HOW IRC WORKS
IRC is intended to begin with professional fit, not with a demand that a radiologist commit to another schedule. The process should become more specific only when there is a reason to continue.
The current professional-interest form requires Full name, Work email, Country or region, and Primary subspecialty. Credentialing jurisdiction, Current practice / organization, and Primary interest are optional. A no-PHI acknowledgement is required.
Business Model v1 now sets an initial fit-review target of within 5 business days after a successful submission. This is a service target, not an acceptance guarantee. Submission does not itself create network membership or an engagement.

If there appears to be a potential fit, the next step is a professional conversation about interests, availability, constraints, and the kinds of engagement worth considering.
Supported opportunity types include expert review / second opinion where permitted, specialist consultation, advisory or project work, teaching / peer exchange, and visiting or conference engagements. Availability is never guaranteed.
Before acceptance, the opportunity states scope, responsibilities, compensation basis and fee or rate, timing, applicable credentialing, and any travel terms. IRC uses per-case / bundle, hourly / session, project / day, or retainer / milestone structures depending on the work.
There is no standing weekly minimum at the IRC-network level. A radiologist may decline an opportunity or pause availability before accepting it. Once an engagement is accepted, its written timing, scope, and professional obligations apply.
